Description

Our first outerwear project, inspired by a classic 1940s army piece re-imagined with a sustainable twist. The Scottish beeswaxed fabric by Halley Stevensons combines heritage with all-weather functionality. The natural wax insulates from the cold! Paired up with a warm jumper it will keep you warm enough to wear straight into winter months. The jacket is packable and travel friendly.

The Anorak (Annuraaq in its original language) is the traditional piece of clothing worn by the Innuit tribes as means of warmth and protection from the wind and wetness of the North. Last year, while vintage shopping in NY, we fell in love with a 1940s original model, and started to work to find the way to repurpose it in a wrad way for our daily urban adventures.. How?
