CHALLENGE:
Biodegradable denim is a genuine breakthrough, but how do you make it desirable and culturally relevant, without accidentally encouraging people to buy more because "it breaks down anyway"?
PROJECT:
We rooted the campaign in a universal truth: relationships. In a post- Covid world craving connection, we created a playful campaign offering "tips for lasting relationships” with your partner and your jeans. We designed the retail store experience and brought the concept to life with a launch event featuring mojitos made from mint grown in soil fertilized with biodegradable denim waste (which improves plant germination by 4.4% and growth by 22%).
IMPACT:
A campaign that made biodegradability feel human, warm and culturally relevant, proving sustainability storytelling doesn't need to be heavy to be effective.
